Family Federation for World Peace and Unification(hereinafter referred to as the Family Federation) announced that the 9th anniversary ceremony of True Father’s Seonghwa was held on August 24th (July 17th on the lunar calendar) with political,economic,religious leaders and Family Federation for World Peace and Unification members from 194 countries attending online.
The official name of The late Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s 9th anniversary ceremony, was “the Rev. Sun-myeong Moon, the 9th commemorative worship event, True Parents of heaven, earth and humankind, Cheon Il Guk anniversary of the the sacredness of death of true parents, and conducted under the theme of “Hyojung sprits, which is devoted to heaven, go with the light of the world.”
It was held two-way video communication system and streaming based on online platform using augmented reality (AR). In addition, simultaneous interpretation was conducted in 16 languages in consideration of international participants.
Marking the 9th anniversary of commemorative worship event, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon said, ” Because of COVID-19, we can’t see ahead of us and there are many casualties due to forest fires and torrential rains, but we have to unite and resolve them,” adding, We have finally declared the Foundation Day in 2013 by stages through the process of declaring many phases “Through the process of declaring many phases over the past 60 years, mankind has declared Cheon Il Guk completion that we can serve”.
We have declared the complete settlement of Cheon Il Guk(God’s Kingdom) by creating an Environmental realm to serve Heavenly Parent, she said. “Our dream in the future should educate and lead 7.8 billion people who served Haneul’s parents to live in their original form as a family.”
The late Rev. Sun Myung Moon taught people that the sacredness of death is a moment of joy, saying, “It is the moment of entering the spiritual world of joy and victory with grains by blooming and bearing fruits on the ground called Seonghwa.”
Accordingly, Family Federation for World Peace and Unification holds the Seonghwa festival in a ceremony to celebrate a new start in the Spiritual world and Yeonggye.
Born on January 6, 1920, in Jeongju, Pyeonganbuk-do, The Rev. Sun Myung Moon passed away on September 3, 2012 (July 17, the lunar calendar). The Rev. Sun Myung Moon founded Foundation for the Support of HAS-UWC in 1954 and has grown into a world-class religious body with 194 missionaries around the world and has devoted his entire life to world peace, religious harmony, and human salvation in the whole fields.
Newt Gingrich ,Former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives said in a memorial speech, “It’s an important moment to commemorate The Rev. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon who experienced the pain of communism and worked hard for peace,” adding, “With uncertainties occurring around the world, including Afghanistan, people are asking how to achieve freedom and peace.”
Subsequently, Former Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan then stressed, “The Rev. Sun Myung Moon believed in Nigeria and his teaching of peace and harmony is still with us today,” adding, “ International Summit Council for Peace(ISCP), where I’m the chairman, is ready to cooperate for communication , unification, peace and development on the Korean Peninsula.”
Former Kosovo President Patmir Sejiu said, “the late Rev. Sun-myung Moon‘s whole life was a champion of hyper-religious cooperation, True Family movement, reconciliation and peace,” and stressed, ” Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon’s leadership was confirmed through the World Summit held around the world and the “Hope & Progress” through online.”

In addition, Il-sik Hong, former president of Korea University and the first chairman of the Sunhak Peace Committee, said, ” The late Rev. Sun Myung Moon, is the first visionary and most widely respected Korean in the world to spread Korean culture and ideas.”
And former lawmaker of Korea assembly Myoung-cheol Cho said, “I miss the heroic appearance of The late Rev. Sun Myung Moon solemnly declaring that his country cannot be unified in the Juche ideology in Pyongyang,” and stressed, “Let’s take over Moon’s unification ideas and achievements with Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon and head for a new unification of Korea.” ,” he stressed.
In addition to the 9th anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa, about 30 commemorative events , including “THINK TANK 2022 Hope & Progress Conference,” “THINK TANK 2022 Forum,” “Korea Peninsula Peace SUMMIT 2021,” “ILC,” “International Guidance Conference on Continents,” and “ICE ROAD etc , will be held around the world in an online non-face-to-face format with the goal of peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula.
